Cooley Legends Half marathon

The Sailing Club is hosting the inaugural Cooley Legends Half Marathon on Saturday 24 April.

Participants will be attending to complete registration on Friday evening and on the Saturday morning, after which they will be taken by bus to the Lumpers for a 10:00 am start.

Over 120 athletes from every corner of Ireland and beyond are expected to start, including some stalwarts from the Sailing Club.

This will be a demanding event, mainly off-road with some very tough hill climbs and narrow mountain tracks.

Competitors are expected to arrive back at the club between 11.45 am and 1:00 pm with prize giving at approximately 1.45 pm.

Please come down to cheer them home and show our visitors a very warm welcome.
