Carlingford Lough Endurance Challenge

The Sailing Club is hosting the 10th Carlingford Lough Endurance Challenge on Saturday 10 July.

Participants will be attending to complete registration on Friday evening and on Saturday morning, after which they will endure a course that involves a number of different sessions of off-road running and mountain biking concluding with kayaking and a short run.

Over 150 athletes from every corner of Ireland and beyond are expected to start, including some stalwarts from the Sailing Club.

This will be a demanding event, with some very tough hill climbs and cycling over narrow mountain tracks.

The first competitors are expected to finish back at the club from 2 pm onwards with those at the back of the field anytime up to 5 pm [and possibly later].

There will a prize presentation and meal in the evening and a party to the early hours.
