NOTICE OF RACE
IRISH MULTIHULL ASSOCIATION NORTHERN CHAMPIONSHIPS
2013
1 RULES
The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS).
The prescriptions of the Irish Sailing Association, the Irish Multihull Association, and the individual class rules will apply.
2 ELIGIBILITY
Each team shall be a financial member of the Irish Multihull Association
3 REGISTRATION / ENTRY
Competitors may enter by completing an entry form at the Club House
On
Friday 10thMay between 20.00 hours and 21.30 hours
or
Saturday 11th May between 09.30 hours and 10.30 hours
4 Entry Fee
Double Handed Teams: €70 (including one dinner)
Single Handed / Youth Teams €45 (including one dinner)
6 SCORING
3 races are required to be completed to constitute a Championship.
(a) When fewer than 4 races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores.
(b) When 4 or more races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score.
ISAF Low points Scoring System will be used for SCHRS Fleet and average laps will apply
5 SCHEDULE OF RACES

* Four races are scheduled for Saturday / Three races are scheduled for Sunday
* On Sunday no warning signal will be made after 14:00 hours
3 races are required to be completed to constitute a Championship.

7 PRIZES
Prizes will be awarded to first overall in SCHRS and at the discretion of the organising authority and the IMA. These may include Individual Class prizes and Youth Prizes etc.
8 DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.
9 INSURANCE
Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance with a minimum cover of €2,000,000 per event or the equivalent.
